I was born Gary Karl Turner. I was adopted Mark Stephen Dunton. I changed my name to Mista MoJo. But I Am Garth Laughton… Maybe

Born and raised in Derby, I took the natural step of a ‘job for life’ with Rolls Royce.  Aero engines weren’t my thing and neither was the dole. Being a full-time, long-term student proved to be quite addictive for a while. But eventually, I found my wings as a locally based entertainer and physical theatre practitioner.

After a post-grad in Acting from East 15 Acting school, I took flight and landed in Italy in 2005. After an apprenticeship from hell, living in Naples, I now spend most of my time in Florence, commuting for work in and around the South of Italy.
